The Account Manager Mid market is responsible for the identification, positioning and driving the sale of services and solutions within EMC Enterprise account base.The CSD is primarily focused on driving the EMC strategic agenda with the client base – namely Information Infrastructure Transformation.This role is pivotal in driving the value of EMC solutions (including acquisitions companies – IIG, Data Domain(BRS) and VMWare for example) to meet the needs of our customers.

Responsibilities

  • The Accountmanager Midmarket is accountable for driving services
    business within the named Enterprise accounts and towards New business, in the mid Market segment (250K - 1000K annual turnover)
  • Strategically
    drive services business in selected accounts in close synergy with the account
    teams (responsible for Services targets for accounts).
  • Once engagements are
    sold the Accountmanager will work in close conact to the EMC delivery organisations, to ensure they are delivering
    to expectation and also ensure that EMC maximizing its opportunity from the
    engagement (i.e. selling follow-on business)
  • Build in-depth knowledge of
    clients’ business priorities, challenges and initiatives that can be translated
    into EMC solutions.
  • Build value added relationships within the domain of the
    account to become the trusted 
  • Proactive involvement and development of sales
    campaigns across focus accounts – including participating/ facilitating account
    planning and mapping out customer issues.

  • Able to drive a sales campaign (coordinating internal and external
    stakeholders)
  • Consultative selling approach
  • Domain knowledge in at least 4 of
    the 7 area’s:

    • Storage
    • Server Consolidation & Virtualisation
    • Data Center
      Automation
    • ITSM/ ITIL
    • Information Security
    • Outsourcing
    • Content Management 
  • Must have excellent communication skills, written skills
    (English) and be an excellent facilitator Will have experience in
    Infrastructure integration projects and/or outsourcing/ smart sourcing
